Today is a long but exhilarating drive. We travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending the crater rim before descending into the plains. You’ll know you’ve arrived when the horizon turns gold and the land stretches to infinity—welcome to the Serengeti.

We conduct an en-route game drive through the southern plains (Ndutu/Naabi Hill area). Depending on the season (December to July), you might witness the Great Wildebeest Migration with thousands of zebra and wildebeest thundering across the plains.

We camp at the Seronera Campsite, located in the heart of the Serengeti. This central location is prime territory for leopards and lions. Security Tip: Campsites in the Serengeti are unfenced; you must be escorted by an askari (park ranger) to your tent after dark.

Descending 600 meters into the crater floor, you enter a self-contained world. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Within a few hours, you can see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard).
